BLACK GARLIC DIP

Makes 2 cups. Prep 20 mins.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Black Garlic bulbs
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

  • 2 Tbsp Rusty Bus EVOO

  • 1 Tbsp dried or fresh minced shallots

  • 250g cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup toasted walnuts, chopped

  • Pinch of GVG Black Garlic Salt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Peel Black Garlic cloves and add to a food processor with sour cream and EVOO and process until smooth

  2. Add remaining ingredients except walnuts and process until smooth, scarping down sides of bowl as necessary

  3. Transfer to a medium bowl and fold in walnuts

  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least a few hours or overnight to really bring out the flavours

SERVING SUGGESTION

Serve with your favourite vegetables and/or crackers or great as a sandwich spread.
