BLACK GARLIC DIP
Makes 2 cups. Prep 20 mins.
INGREDIENTS
2 Black Garlic bulbs
1/4 cup sour cream
2 Tbsp Rusty Bus EVOO
1 Tbsp dried or fresh minced shallots
250g cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup toasted walnuts, chopped
Pinch of GVG Black Garlic Salt
DIRECTIONS
Peel Black Garlic cloves and add to a food processor with sour cream and EVOO and process until smooth
Add remaining ingredients except walnuts and process until smooth, scarping down sides of bowl as necessary
Transfer to a medium bowl and fold in walnuts
Cover and refrigerate for at least a few hours or overnight to really bring out the flavours
SERVING SUGGESTION
Serve with your favourite vegetables and/or crackers or great as a sandwich spread.
